Architectural High Damping Rubber Bearings (HDR)
High damping rubber bearing, which is to add various compounding agents to natural rubber to improve the damping performance of rubber (increase hysteresis loss, reduce its storage modulus), and then use this rubber with damping effect to It is a laminated product formed by hot vulcanization of steel plate and rubber with similar structure of ordinary rubber bearing. The product has good seismic isolation performance and a wide range of applications. It is a new type of building isolation product with high cost performance. Because of its simple manufacturing process and reliable product mechanical properties, it has been widely used and developed after the 5.12 earthquake.

Features of high damping rubber bearing:
1. Vertical bearing capacity, horizontal restoring force, and damping (energy absorption) in one; 2. The hysteretic characteristics of the bearing (load-deformation curve) are full and the energy consumption is significant;
3. The rubber formula is improved, and the equivalent damping ratio can reach more than 12%;
4. Low maintenance and management costs (no need for other damping devices);
5. The residual deformation after the big earthquake is very small, no need to replace;
6. The surface of the high damping bearing is covered with a rubber protective layer, which protects the internal rubber from ozone and ultraviolet rays, and has better aging resistance, and the equivalent damping ratio in 50 years is reduced by less than 2%;
7. HDR high damping rubber has low temperature dependence and is widely used in different climatic regions;
8. HDR high damping rubber has the same superior creep performance as natural rubber;
